About the club

Why swim when you could dive?! And what’s more…you could dive with shoals of fish on a WWII submarine….we all have!

We are a BSAC (British Sub-Aqua Club) branch, so we can teach you BSAC’s internationally recognised diver qualifications. All our instructors are (qualified!) volunteers and we own mountains of kit for hire (and three beautiful boats), so our courses are a fraction the cost of training elsewhere! We offer training to all skills levels, from beginner right through to technical training. We also welcome divers with non-BSAC qualifications to cross over and continue to learn with us! In addition to all this, we encourage extracurricular courses such as learning how to drive our club boats, Wreck Appreciation qualifications and Seasearch courses for UK Marine life surveying!

With trips running most weekends through summer to a variety of UK dive hot spots (Portland, Farne Islands, Plymouth…), a week long training trip to Cornwall in Easter and annual summer tours (previously Costa Brava, Croatia, and this year Lanzarote!) you will definitely get your underwater fix with us!

Our club calendar lists all of our upcoming trips, courses and socials. We meet at the bar in Beit Quad on Tuesdays around 7pm so come say hi!

Visit our Imperial Union page to pay trip and course fees!
